The Process Begins

On April 22nd, we began the 14-day bonding period. We started off with visiting the younger brother at the baby house in the morning, then visiting the older brother at the children's village in the afternoon (after he returned from school). Unfortunately, we cannot post their names or pictures on the blog until they are legally ours. So we'll just have to keep that part as a surprise for later. :) Both visits go really well and we are starting to learn some things about the boys. The younger one loves to dig in the sandbox outside and the older one's favorite school subject is mathmatics and they are both fascinated by our camera and video camera.

It is so amazing how God works! Just when you think you have your life figured out, God blesses you even more with very unexpected blessings. Thank you for the snippets of your journey. It is so wonderful to know how to pray for you all and read the progression of the adoption and what God is doing.

Praise God for your two new blessings!

D&J,

Wow, Sarah and I have been so excited reading about your journey. What a emotional roller coaster -- but isn't God good? Sarah and I have been praying for you and know that God is faithful.

We are SO thrilled and can't wait to meet your boys!! God's way of working situations out is incredibly annoying sometimes, but how cool it is to be on the receiving end of God's generosity as He finally lifts the curtain on the process He has been orchestrating.
